Cookie policy
Which cookies and local storage we use on FreeBTC, what they are for, how long they last and how you can accept them, reject them or change your choice. We ask for your consent to optional cookies, as Directive 2002/58/EC requires for users in the EU, and we apply this to everyone.

Your choice
Google Analytics and Google advertising on content pages. Your choice is stored only in this browser.
1. What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Local storage (localStorage) is a similar mechanism that lets a page save data on your device. In this policy we call both “cookies”.
They can be first-party (set by FreeBTC) or third-party (set by another company), and necessary (essential to provide the service you ask for, and not subject to consent) or optional (such as analytics and advertising cookies, used only if you accept them).
2. In short
- Everything FreeBTC itself stores in your browser is necessary or preference storage.
- The optional categories are Google Analytics (to learn which pages are used and improve them) and advertising. They only load if you press “Accept”.
- If you reject, the site works just the same: we don’t measure your visit with cookies and you won’t see ads.
3. First-party storage
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
freebtc.session | Keeps you signed in (access token). | Until you sign out or the token expires (7 days by default). | Necessary |
freebtc.ref | Remembers the code of the friend who invited you, to assign the invitation when you create your account. | Until you sign in or delete it. | Necessary |
freebtc.consent | Remembers your cookie choice. | 12 months. | Necessary |
freebtc.sound | Remembers whether you turned sound on or off. | Until you delete it. | Preference (necessary for the feature you ask for) |
fb.chips.revealed | Stores your client seed and the revealed seeds of the provably fair panel, so you can verify your plays. | Until you delete it. | Necessary for the feature you ask for |
fb-… (several) | Stores your progress and best scores in some Arcade games. | Until you delete it. | Necessary for the feature you ask for |
freebtc.demoOffers | Test environments only: state of the demo offer wall. | Until you delete it. | Necessary (testing only) |
This storage is not sent to third parties or used to track you.
4. Third-party cookies
| Third party | Where and when | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google (accounts.google.com) | On the Sign-in page, when the “Continue with Google” button loads. | Lets you sign in with your Google account, as you request. | Necessary |
| Cloudflare Turnstile (challenges.cloudflare.com) | When you claim free chips and when you request a withdrawal. | Checking that you are a person and not a bot. Cloudflare reads technical signals from your browser and device. | Necessary (security of the service you ask for) |
Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager (_ga, _ga_*) | On every page, only if you accept. Otherwise Google only receives cookieless pings (consent mode). | Measuring visits, page views and traffic sources in aggregate. Duration: up to 2 years. | Analytics (requires consent) |
| Google AdSense (googlesyndication.com, doubleclick.net) | On content pages, only if you accept. | Showing ads, limiting how often they repeat, measuring them and, depending on your Google settings, personalising them. | Advertising (requires consent) |
| Google Ad Manager (securepubads.g.doubleclick.net) | On Earn, when you press “Watch video” for the rewarded video, only if you have accepted. | Showing the rewarded video ad and measuring it. | Advertising (requires consent) |
| A-Ads (a-ads.com) | Only if we use this network instead of AdSense, and only if you accept. | Showing an ad in a frame. | Advertising (requires consent) |
| Offerwall.me (offerwall.me), banners | In the ads on content pages, only if you accept. | Showing an advertising banner and counting its impressions. | Advertising (requires consent) |
| Offerwall.me, CPX Research, TheoremReach, Wannads | On Earn, when you view the partners section: the first wall opens by itself, the others when you choose them. | Showing you their surveys and offers inside FreeBTC. | Set by the partner under its own policy |
Each third party sets the duration of its cookies; see their policies: Google, Cloudflare, A-Ads, CPX Research, TheoremReach and Wannads and Offerwall.me.
Our partners’ walls are the partner’s own pages loaded inside FreeBTC. They only load on the Earn page, which you visit to see offers, and any cookies they set are managed by the partner under its own responsibility.
5. How to accept, reject or change your choice
The first time you visit FreeBTC we show a notice with an “Accept” button and a “Settings” link, which brings you to this page, where you can reject optional cookies. Until you accept, no optional cookie is loaded.
You can change your choice at any time in the “Your choice” box on this page or from “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, we reload the page so advertising stops loading.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. If you block necessary storage, you won’t be able to stay signed in.
6. More information
The processing of personal data linked to these cookies, including international transfers, is explained in the Privacy policy. If we add new optional cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your choice again.
