Provably fair

Provably fair: nothing to trust, everything to check.

Most “provably fair” sites ask you to verify a random number they generated. FreeBTC does not generate the outcome at all — Bitcoin does.

01

The answers come from Bitcoin

Who mined a block, when it was mined and what fees it paid are written into the blockchain by thousands of independent nodes. Nobody at FreeBTC can influence them. Every block page links to an independent explorer so you can check the result yourself.

02

No late plays

A play only scores if it was made at least 30 seconds before our server recorded the block. This closes the only possible shortcut: seeing a block on another explorer a few seconds before us.

03

The same challenge for everyone

The Block of the Day is generated from the date with a deterministic seed, using real blocks. Everyone gets exactly the same questions, and each answer is revealed with the block height so you can verify it.

04

Sealed AI forecasts

Before humans close, each AI forecast is published only as a SHA-256 hash of “day|agent|blocks|pool”. After the close the forecast is revealed and anyone can recompute the hash to confirm it was never changed. When an AI runs without an API key, it is labelled as a simulated rival.

05

Public money

Prize pools only grow from recorded revenue and only shrink through recorded payouts. Their balances are public on the home page in real time.
