The rules

  1. Chips are free: 10,000 when you join, 1,000 every hour, and more for good results in the free skill games.
  2. Chips have no money value. They are never sold, never bought and never exchanged for sats.
  3. The week runs from Monday 00:00 UTC to Sunday 23:59 UTC. Rankings close and pay on Monday at 00:00 UTC.
  4. To enter a ranking you need at least 20 plays that week.
  5. Four rankings: most chips won (35 % of the prizes), most chips played (25 %), most correct block calls (25 %) and biggest win (15 %).
  6. Each week we pay out 80 % of the weekly pot. The rest stays, so next week never starts at zero.
  7. Top 10 of each ranking: 30 · 20 · 12 · 9 · 7 · 6 · 5 · 4 · 4 · 3 % of its prize.
  8. Ties go to whoever got there first.
  9. House Rivals (◆) never rank. Accounts under review do not get paid.
  10. Paying for anything on FreeBTC (season pass, sponsoring a block) never gives you chips or any advantage in the rankings.
  11. Prizes go to your wallet in sats. You can withdraw from 50,000 sats.

Where the sats come from

FreeBTC only earns when you earn. Partners pay us when you complete their offers; part of that fills the prize pots, and half of the prize money goes to the weekly pot that pays these rankings.

What are chips?

Chips are the free tokens you play with on FreeBTC. You get 10,000 when you join and 1,000 more every hour. They have no money value.

Can I lose my chips?

Yes. You can play them however you like, all-in included. If you run out, more free chips arrive next hour.

How do I win sats?

Play your chips in the games. Every Monday at 00:00 UTC the top 10 of each of the four weekly rankings get real sats in their FreeBTC wallet.

Can I buy chips or swap them for sats?

No. Chips are never sold, never bought and never exchanged for sats. Sats never buy chips. The only way chips lead to sats is a top-10 place in a weekly ranking.

How much is there to win?

Each week we pay out a share of the weekly pot, shown live at the top of this page. Each ranking has its own prize, split among its top 10.

Why do I need 20 plays?

So the rankings reward people who really played the week, not a single lucky play.

Why is this legal?

It is a free promotional contest. You never pay to play, chips are free and have no money value, they are never exchanged for sats, and paying for anything on the site never gives you chips or a better place. FreeBTC pays the prizes from what its partners pay.

When can I withdraw?

Prizes land in your wallet as sats. You can withdraw once you have 50,000 sats.
