Is FreeBTC legit?

You should not take anyone’s word for it, including ours. This page explains how FreeBTC makes money, how it pays you, and how to check every claim yourself.

Updated

The short answer

FreeBTC is a free promotional contest. You never deposit and you never pay. Chips are free and have no money value. Sats come from only two places: partner offers and the weekly ranking prizes, which FreeBTC funds from what partners pay. Every block result can be checked on the Bitcoin blockchain, and the money flows are public in Open books.

How FreeBTC makes money

Partners — companies with surveys, apps and missions — pay FreeBTC when you complete their offers. You keep 50% to 65% of every payment in sats. A share funds the prize pots. FreeBTC keeps the rest. If you do not earn, FreeBTC does not earn either.

How you get paid

  • Weekly rankings: the top 10 of four rankings are paid every Monday at 00:00 UTC, into your FreeBTC wallet.
  • Partner offers: your share is credited when the partner confirms, then it matures for 30 days, like a miner’s reward, to protect everyone from fraud.
  • Withdrawals: from 50,000 sats to your own Bitcoin address. Each one is reviewed before it is paid.

Check it yourself

  • Open books shows live how much comes in and how much goes to players.
  • The weekly rankings are public, with every winner and every prize.
  • Every block game is scored with public data from the real Bitcoin blockchain: compare any result with a block explorer.
  • The provably fair page explains how each game result is generated and checked.
  • The ranking rules and the legal notice are public.

Why there is a minimum and a waiting period

Small, instant payouts are what bots and fraud farms drain first; that is how most faucets died. A fixed 50,000-sat minimum and a 30-day maturing period for partner sats keep the budget for real players. The minimum never moves.

What FreeBTC will never do

  • Ask you for a deposit, a fee or a purchase to unlock a withdrawal.
  • Ask for your seed phrase, private keys or remote access to your device.
  • Message you first on Telegram, WhatsApp or social media offering “support” or “recovery”.
  • Sell or buy chips, or exchange chips for sats.

Questions

Does FreeBTC really pay?

Yes. Ranking prizes are paid every Monday into your wallet, and you can withdraw from 50,000 sats to your own Bitcoin address. Open books shows the money flows live.

Why is the minimum withdrawal 50,000 sats?

It keeps bots and fraud farms from draining the budget meant for real players. It is fixed and never changes when you get close.

Is FreeBTC legal?

It is a free promotional contest: chips are free, have no money value, are never exchanged for sats, and paying never helps you rank.

Who runs FreeBTC?

The operating company and its contact details are in the legal notice.

Someone contacted me on Telegram from FreeBTC. Is it real?

No. FreeBTC never contacts you first and never asks for money, keys or a seed phrase. Report the account and use only the links on freebtc.app.
