Your name on a Bitcoin block. Forever.
Pick one of the next blocks and write it a dedication. It rides along with the block’s round while people play it and stays on the block’s page forever. And half of what you pay is that block’s prize, for the players who call it best.
We’re in this together: half of every sponsored block goes to the players.
No block has been sponsored yet. The first one can carry your name.
How it works
- 1Pick a blockAny of the next 4,032 Bitcoin blocks (about 144 a day). Each block has a single sponsor.
- 2Write your dedicationYour name or your brand and a message of up to 140 characters. Brands can add a link.
- 3Players play for your prizeHalf the price is that block’s prize. The round’s top 3 players take it when it resolves: 50%, 30% and 20%.
Sponsoring gives no advantage in the round: you score like everyone else.

Special blocks up for auction
Some blocks have a story: the millionth block, halvings, the first block of each season, palindromes… They go to the highest bid 6 blocks before they arrive. If someone outbids you, your sats go straight back to your balance.

Questions
Does sponsoring give me an advantage in the round?
No. Your dedication rides along with the block, but the round is scored the same for everyone. You can play it like any other player, with no edge.
Where does my payment go?
Half is that block’s prize, split among the top 3 players of its round (50%, 30% and 20%). The other half is FreeBTC’s and keeps the game free. You can check it in Open books.
When is the prize paid?
As soon as the block’s round resolves, a few minutes after it is mined. If nobody scores, the prize goes to the Jackpot. It never stays with us.
What if my dedication is rejected?
We review messages so the wall stays a good place. If we don’t approve yours before the block is mined, you get every sat back in your balance.
Can a brand sponsor a block?
Yes. A brand pays 25,000 sats and can add a link to its site, marked as sponsored. Same rules: the prize is for the players.
How do I pay?
From your FreeBTC balance, instantly, or with any Lightning wallet by scanning the code. While you pay, the block is held for you for a few minutes.
Which blocks are auctioned?
The ones with a story: the millionth block, halvings, the first block of each season (difficulty adjustment), multiples of 10,000, palindromes and repeating digits. Round thousands sell at a fixed price ×3.
Does it really stay forever?
Every block has a public, permanent page on FreeBTC. Your dedication stays there, block after block.
