Mempool Plinko: Bitcoin Plinko, the free crypto Plinko game
Drop a transaction through the fee layers and see where it lands.
You play with chips: they are free (more every hour), you can lose them, and they are never bought, sold or swapped for sats. The weekly rankings pay real sats into your wallet. See the weekly rankings →
Provably fairCheck every result yourself
Before you play you see a fingerprint (SHA-256) of our secret server seed. Each play mixes that seed with your client seed and a counter (nonce): HMAC-SHA256(server seed, "client seed:nonce:round"), 4 bytes per number. When you change your client seed we reveal the old server seed, so you can recompute every past play in your own browser.

How to play
- You play with chips, not money. Chips are free: 10,000 when you join and more every hour. You can lose them all, and they are never bought, sold or swapped for sats.
- Choose 8 to 16 layers and a risk level (low, medium or high), then drop. Each layer sends the ball left or right with the same chance.
- The slot where it lands sets your multiplier: you get chips × multiplier back. Middle slots pay less than you played; edge slots pay much more.
- Higher risk makes the middle pay less and the edges pay more. Every table returns about 98.5 % of the chips played on average.
- You can drop several balls in a row: each drop is a separate play.
- Every week the rankings (most chips won, most played, biggest win…) pay real sats into the winners’ wallets. Paying never gives you chips.
- Provably fair: every result comes from your seeds and a counter (HMAC-SHA256). Open “Provably fair” under the game to check any play in your browser.
About this game
Plinko is the classic peg-board game: a ball bounces down rows of pins and drops into a slot at the bottom. This Bitcoin Plinko game turns the board into the mempool, where Bitcoin transactions wait stacked by fee rate. Your chips ride a transaction that falls from the expensive top layers down to the 1 sat/vB floor, bumped left or right at every layer.
Most drops end near the middle, where the multipliers are small. The edges are rare and pay the most: up to ×1000 with 16 layers on high risk. You pick the shape of the game: fewer layers and low risk for steady drops, 16 layers and high risk for the long shots.
What makes this crypto Plinko different: you never deposit coins. You play with free chips, every drop is provably fair (you can rebuild the ball’s whole path from your seeds), and the weekly rankings pay real sats to the players who win the most.
Is this Bitcoin Plinko game free?
Yes. You play with free chips (10,000 when you join, more every hour) and never deposit anything. The sats come from the weekly rankings.
How is the ball’s path decided?
One fair number per layer from your seeds: below 0.5 goes left, otherwise right. The slot is the number of rights, so you can rebuild the whole path yourself.
What are the odds of hitting an edge?
Each layer is a coin flip, so the edges are rare: with 8 layers the ball reaches one of the two edge slots about 1 time in 128, with 16 layers about 1 time in 32,768. That is why they pay the most.
Can I buy chips or cash them out?
No. Chips are free play tokens with no money value: they can’t be bought, sold or exchanged for sats. The only sats in the game come from the weekly rankings, paid from the prize pot.
How do the weekly rankings work?
Each week (Monday to Sunday, UTC) your plays count towards several rankings: most chips won, most chips played (plays with real risk), most block hits and biggest single win. The top places share real sats from the weekly pot.
How can I check a result is fair?
Before you play you see the SHA-256 fingerprint of our server seed. Change your client seed and we reveal the old server seed: recompute every past play in your browser from the “Provably fair” panel, or with any HMAC-SHA256 tool.
