Price Hi-Lo: Bitcoin price: up or down?
Will Bitcoin close the next minute higher or lower?

You play on the next minute. It ends up if the 1-minute BTC-USD candle on Coinbase closes above its open, down if below. An exact tie refunds your chips.
How to play
- You play with chips, not money. Chips are free: 10,000 when you join and more every hour. You can lose them all, and they are never bought, sold or swapped for sats.
- Rounds are UTC minutes. You play on the next minute; plays close 5 seconds before it starts.
- Up wins if the 1-minute BTC-USD candle on Coinbase closes above its open; down wins if it closes below. Each pays ×1.95. An exact tie refunds your chips.
- One play per round. After a win, “Double or nothing” plays everything you won on the next minute in the same direction.
- Results are computed on our server from the public candle once it is final: we read it at least a minute after the minute ends and settle only when two reads match. If the price data never arrives, the round is void and your chips come back.
- Every week the rankings pay real sats into the winners’ wallets. Each correct call here counts for “Most correct block calls”, besides chips won and chips played. Paying never gives you chips.
About this game
The Bitcoin price never sleeps. Every minute is a new round: will BTC/USD close it above or below where it opened?
We use the public 1-minute BTC-USD candles of Coinbase Exchange, one of the most traded Bitcoin markets. Every resolved round links to its exact candle, so you can check the open and close yourself.
Why Coinbase and not an average?
Because anyone can fetch the exact same 1-minute candle afterwards and check our result to the cent. Averages from aggregators update every few minutes and in whole dollars.
Is there a strategy?
Over one minute the price is close to a coin flip. Watch the chart, keep your plays small and enjoy the ride.
Can I buy chips or cash them out?
No. Chips are free play tokens with no money value: they can’t be bought, sold or exchanged for sats. The only sats in the game come from the weekly rankings, paid from the prize pot.
How do the weekly rankings work?
Each week (Monday to Sunday, UTC) your plays count towards several rankings: most chips won, most chips played, most correct block calls and biggest single win. The top places share real sats from the weekly pot.
