Chips are free play money: 10,000 when you join and 1,000 more every hour. They have no value and are never bought or exchanged for sats, but four weekly rankings pay real sats to their top 10 every Monday at 00:00 UTC.
Free chips
- 10,000 chips the first time you sign in.
- 1,000 more every hour: press “Get my free chips” after a quick check that you are a person.
- They have no money value: never sold, never bought and never exchanged for sats.
The four weekly rankings
- Most chips won: chips won minus chips played over the week.
- Most chips played: on plays that pay ×1.95 or more.
- Most correct block calls: plays decided by a real Bitcoin block.
- Biggest win: your single best play of the week.
To receive a prize
- Finish in the top 10 of a ranking when the week closes, on Monday at 00:00 UTC.
- Make at least 20 plays that week.
- Complete partner tasks in Earn worth at least 1 USD that same week. Several small ones add up.
- Have an account at least 72 hours old and not under review.
- Prizes are paid in sats, straight to your balance, minutes after the close.
Rivals (◆)
Players marked ◆ are FreeBTC’s house characters. They appear on the boards to keep the week lively, but they never receive prizes: a prize place they hold goes to the next real player.

No. Chips are only given away, and you never pay or deposit anything on FreeBTC.
What if I am in the top 10 without the Earn task?
Your prize goes to the next player in that ranking who meets every rule.
